Why per-LO branded sites matter
The mortgage business runs on relationships. When a past client refers their friend, they say “call my LO Sarah at this number.” The friend Googles “Sarah LO mortgage” or types in the URL Sarah handed them. Sarah needs to show up at her own URL with her own branding, not at a generic brokerage homepage where her name is one of 30.
This is also a recruiting lever. When a brokerage tries to hire an experienced LO, “you keep your personal brand” is a competitive offer. “Move to our brand and lose your personal site” is a hiring blocker.
What a real per-LO branded site includes
- Custom URL: either a subdomain (sarah.bntouchmortgage.com) or a real custom domain (sarahmortgage.com)
- LO photo and bio: headshot, professional bio, NMLS license number, contact info
- Lead capture forms: contact form, mortgage calculator, pre-qualification form. All flow into the LO’s pipeline in the brokerage CRM, tagged by source.
- Mortgage calculators and tools: rate calculator, refi savings calculator, affordability calculator, all branded to the LO
- Digital 1003 application: prospects can start a loan application from the LO’s site. Application data flows to the brokerage CRM and to the LOS.
- Testimonial and review display: LO-specific customer reviews shown on their site
- Content (blog or articles): branded under the LO, optionally syndicated from a brokerage-level content library
The brokerage side: oversight without taking over LO branding
While each LO has their own site, the brokerage maintains:
- Centralized pipeline visibility across all LO sites and lead sources
- TCPA compliance oversight (consent records owned at the brokerage level)
- Per-LO production reports rolled up to the principal broker
- Compliance: NMLS license display, fair-lending disclaimers, brokerage-level legal text on every LO site
The brokerage owner sees the whole picture. The LO sees and brands their own slice. Both win.
BNTouch per-LO websites: included or extra?
Per-LO branded websites are INCLUDED in BNTouch Team ($95/seat with 2-user minimum). No additional fee per site. Each LO can have their own subdomain on bntouchmortgage.com or, with light setup, their own custom domain pointed at the BNTouch hosting.
Compare to alternatives:
- Surefire: includes LO sites in team plans, similar architecture
- Bonzo: includes LO landing pages, somewhat thinner than full per-LO sites
- Shape: includes basic LO landing pages
- HubSpot, Salesforce: not included; requires custom CMS build or third-party site platform
How fast can a new LO get their site live?
Adding a new LO to BNTouch Team is roughly 30 minutes. The LO uploads their headshot, fills in their bio and contact info, picks their URL, and the site is live with lead capture forms running into their pipeline.
Frequently asked
Can the LO have their own custom domain?
Yes. The LO buys their domain (sarahmortgage.com from a registrar) and points it at BNTouch hosting via DNS. The BNTouch site renders at the LO’s custom domain with their branding. Optional and free; most LOs do this within 60 days of joining.
What if an LO leaves the brokerage?
The LO can take their domain (which they own) but loses access to the BNTouch hosting. Their contacts in the CRM are reassigned to other LOs in the brokerage per the brokerage’s policy. The leaving LO does not take the CRM contacts with them unless the brokerage explicitly allows it.
Are the LO sites mobile-optimized?
Yes. BNTouch per-LO sites are mobile-first responsive. Lead capture forms work on mobile, calculators work on mobile, digital 1003 application works on mobile.
