BNTouch offers a variety of instruments to ensure that your marketing goes out to the right person at the right time. Before you start rocking with automated marketing, you’ll need to set everything right in your CRM, so we created a tool that helps you NOT send your marketing without your approval. It is called Safe Mode.
Safe Mode provides additional layer of protection to BNTouch subscribers that wish to make sure that not a single piece of marketing is sent away without their confirmation. It is a good way to start using CRM, but to keep the Safe Mode “on” means taking away from the efficiency that automated marketing can offer. Today we’d like to tell you why you should turn “off” Safe Mode and let automation take it over.
The Power is in Automation
As soon as you have your BNTouch CRM account set up, you should really think about turning off Safe Mode. As scary as it may feel to you at the first, it is really not. BNTouch CRM was designed without Safe Mode in mind. Automated communication is really the core of the system that help you save time, organize your workflow and improve your client and partner interaction during mortgage transactions.
You should not take away this huge advantage of a CRM. Making CRM automated is a clear path to successful implementation, happy clients and closed deals. You should really embrace it. In the end, you can always turn it back “on”.
Let us give you a few examples why you should use BNTouch CRM with Safe Mode “off”.
Examples
Let’s say you have a marketing campaign that congratulates your clients on their Birthdays. One day you’ve been so busy that you completely forgot to log into CRM and confirm Birthday email to go out. The result: your client is not congratulated with birthday e-card and you’ve missed an opportunity to maintain your relationship with them.
Another case, status of the transaction has changed to “Approved” in your LOS. Thanks to BNTouch automatic sync, status of the transaction changed in BNTouch too. Your BNTouch is setup to notify Realtors via email as soon as the transaction status is changed. Due to the fact that the Safe Mode is “on”, CRM will not send those emails automatically and you would have to confirm them manually that will cost you time and will degrade the status to not be “real-time”.
As you can see, sometimes Safe Mode is not that “safe” for your marketing. Your desire to insure that not a single piece of marketing goes out without your approval can cost you. BNTouch team does not recommend having Safe Mode turned on after initial setup.
Turning it Off
Turning off Safe Mode is really simple. Every page in BNTouch CRM contains a link that turns Safe Mode on and off. You can see this link location on screenshots below, for both old and new BNTouch CRM versions.
Note: Please make sure to clear your “Pending Campaigns” list on the Dashboard’s widget before turning the Safe Mode off. You can either “cancel” or “execute” pending steps.
