What’s Happening with Encompass CRM
In late 2024, ICE Mortgage Technology announced that the legacy Encompass CRM product is being sunset. The migration plan:
- Guided pilot migration to Surefire ran through end of 2024 with selected customers
- Self-migration via Surefire’s data import tools is the default option starting January 2025
- Customers who don’t self-migrate within the ICE-specified window have the option to use ICE Professional Services at “standard SOW rates” (i.e. billable hours, not free)
- ICE’s stated rationale: consolidating R&D onto a single CRM platform (Surefire) rather than maintaining two
If you’re an Encompass CRM customer right now, you have three real options:
- Self-migrate to Surefire (the ICE-prescribed path). You stay inside the ICE platform. Your data, pipeline, and configurations get pushed through their migration tools.
- Pay ICE Professional Services to do the migration for you. Billable hours.

Week 1, Days 1-7: Discovery + Data Export
BNTouch’s White Glove team reviews your Encompass CRM configuration on a 1-hour call. Week 3, Days 15-21: Integration Setup + Team Training
BNTouch integrates with your existing LOS (Encompass, LendingPad, BytePro, Calyx Point, or Arive). Zillow Tech Connect if you use it. Any other tools in your stack (calendar, dialer, e-sign). Your team gets 2 training sessions: a 60-minute “core workflow” session and a 45-minute “campaigns and automation” session. Both are recorded.
Week 4, Days 22-30: Go Live + Support
You start using BNTouch in production. The Encompass CRM stays accessible (read-only) as a backup reference for 30 days post-migration. White Glove team available for daily questions via Slack or email. By Day 30, your team is independently running BNTouch and the migration is complete.

What if I’m currently using Encompass LOS too?

How long can I keep my old Encompass CRM data accessible?
BNTouch keeps your Encompass-exported data in a read-only archive for at least 12 months post-migration so you can reference historical records. We never delete your data without your explicit approval.
What if my team is mid-pipeline on active loans?
The migration runs in parallel with your active operations. By Day 22, your team starts using BNTouch in production for NEW loans while existing loans stay accessible in both systems. By Day 30, the transition is complete with no operational disruption.
